Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Miranda Kerr, Ashley Tisdale, & Olivia Palermo

Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Miranda Kerr, Ashley Tisdale, & Olivia Palermo
Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Miranda Kerr, Ashley Tisdale, and Olivia Palermo. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Miranda Kerr’s Cute, Western-Inspired Look

Miranda Kerr is a supermodel with superb personal style, and this week she played on a western inspired theme that she transformed into a fun, feminine look.  Miranda wore a floral print mini dress with a jean jacket, studded western-style ankle booties, cat-eye sunglasses, and a gray handbag. Miranda’s dress is the perfect feminine contrast to her cowboy-esque boots and denim jacket, making for a super cute summer ensemble.

This floral skater dress is a great alternate to Miranda’s dress with its flirty fit and print. Add a denim jacket for contrast, then pull on some western-style booties, which toughen up the dress a bit. A satchel bag in a gray-blue hue complements the look nicely, and dark sunglasses – these put a cool twist on the cat-eye style – are a must-have summer accessory. This look is great for a casual day when you still want to look polished and put-together.

Look 2: Ashley Tisdale’s Colorful Casual Wear

Ashley Tisdale stood out in the crowd while out and about in LA this past week, thanks to her casual, colorful, summer-friendly outfit. Ashley paired a bright pink fisherman knit sweater with white skinny jeans, a chunky white watch, flat sandals, and a printed bag.
White jeans are a summer staple, especially when paired with vibrant colors and prints, and Ashley’s outfit is a great example of how you can wear yours this season.

Ashley’s look is essentially just jeans and a sweater, but the bright colors she incorporates help elevate the outfit beyond basic. To get her look, pair white skinny jeans with a fluoro pink fisherman knit sweater and a modern white watch. A cool printed bag adds some contrast to the look – I especially like this colorful zig zag print satchel, which which incorporates the pink and black hues. Flat sandals are a summery touch, and these black cutout sandals have a funky feel to them that mirrors the printed bag.

Look 3: Olivia Palermo’s Bold, Modern Ensemble

Socialite and style maven Olivia Palermo stepped out in NYC sporting an updated take on a classic pairing. Her outfit looked modern and chic thanks to her bold choice to mix not two, but three colorful prints with her shorts, top, and jacket. Olivia rocked a tweed biker-style jacket with a mix of blue hues, paired with trendy abstract-print shorts and a striped top. She accessorized with a classic pearl necklace, ballet flats, and a tan satchel bag.

Olivia’s look is a mix of classic/ladylike and trendy/modern– a bold, super-chic mixture. Although it’s a different color than Olivia’s, this tweed biker jacket has a similar shape and style. Since the mixed prints in your look should feature the same hues as those in Olivia’s, these black and white printed chiffon shorts are a perfect – or rather, un-perfect – match.
Mixing three prints may be a little much for a casual day, so try a graphic print t-shirt for a toned-down look (or go all out with your favorite striped tee – your call!). This t-shirt ode to our favorite fashion hue stays in the color family of the shorts and jacket, and its design has a classic feel to it, which is played up with the help of a modern pearl necklace. Finally, gold flats and a ladylike mint green scalloped handbag complete the ensemble.
