H&M recently announced that their latest fashion collaboration will be with French designer Isabel Marant.
According to WWD, the collection will include women’s clothes and accessories, as well as menswear and children’s clothing (a first for Marant!). Although prices haven’t been finalized, the price points will be similar to past H&M designer collabs like Marni and Maison Martin Margiela.
In a press release, Isabel Marant spoke about her H&M collection:

“I am flattered by this collaboration: H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honor. I aim at creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality.”
Isabel Marant for H&M will be available online (where available) and at 250 H&M stores worldwide starting November 14th.
Since November is a long way away, H&M released a cute little video with Marant talking about her upcoming collection and the inspiration behind it:

Your thoughts?

What do you think of this collaboration? Do you like Isabel Marant’s designs? What do you think of H&M’s choice to team up with Marant? Will you be checking out this collection?
